Does anyone have experience with Urth filters? I’m looking at getting some ND filters and came across this brand which I haven’t heard of before but seem to get good reviews.

I haven’t heard of the brand, but this seems like something you could ask !Photography@lemmy.ml

As a possible word of caution, years ago I bought an Amazon prime polarizing filter. It had good reviews, along with some sharp sample photos. I put it on my 70-300, which I then put my APS-C crop body, and the result was 70s era soft focus soft. I am am not sure if I got unlucky, or if the focal length played a role, but it made me only want to spring for well known, but expensive, filters.

That said, if you aren’t buying it for something time critical you could always return it if the the result isn’t to your liking.

That’s for the fair warning. I think I’ll look for some of the more reputable manufacturers. I initially looked at the high end Kase magnetic kits and those were way too expensive. I since found they have more reasonable kits that get really good reviews as well.
