I know this is a totally serious post but im fucking cackeling right now :D
I think you have a good point with some of the things you mentioned. The manga version probably would have been boring to me aswell if i think about it.
What kept me watching the anime was the animation and voice acting around a (to me) fairly relatable story about time and grief. I would have liked for the emotional side of the story to come up slightly more often, but that would have dropped the general happy mood quite a bit.
But its not for everyone i guess. I hope you enjoy your future reads/watches.

Well the manga is just not for me and after a long way of thinking about it on and off, I finally got rid of my thoughts and I’m glad you could take it lightly.
I dont know about the Anime, but I hope the voice actors gave the dialogue at least some life.
