I feel for him, that’s gotta be tough. I took in 10 strays, I can’t even imagine having nearly three hundred of them.

I wonder why he didn’t do something earlier? I know getting them fixed is expensive (it’s going to be around $200 each for the 10 I have) but neither is 28kg a day for food. At least in my case I can keep the girls separated in the house as we slowly afford to get them done.

There’s a few places Here in Canada that can do them fairly cheap, but nowhere close to where I live, and they usually have a limit of one cat per year.

I just had a quick look and yeah seems like you know your local situation. That’s really stupid for the local environment but someone’s gotta get paid.

Ya, looked into a while back when I was still trying to make friends with these strays… the best deal I can find in my area is $150 plus tax for males, and $210 plus tax for females.

I don’t have much coin to spare but there’s just no way I was leaving those strays to fend for themselves and make things worse, so I’m squirreling money away to get them done in batches. My neighbor is chipping in $200 so that’ll help too.

Bonus is now the neighbors are calling me the cat whisperer because the strays all come running when I’m around lol
