zetaphor just pointed this out to me, I thought maybe we had federation problems with it. No, you just need to set a language, at least for this version of lemmy.

Huh, I’m pretty sure I’ve there before. Even if you set your language? I wonder if their updates/server stability would cause issues**___**
So, post-update, I’m now able to comment on lemmy.ml posts! Still no luck with creating posts on some servers though.
In addition, have you set a default language in your profile?
I just did, but it almost seemed like there wasn’t an option to not have your language set.
