Are those soy curls? If so, do you get them directly from the Butler website, or is there a different brand you prefer? I love the tvp crumbles, but I think bigger chunks would be better in certain recipes.
I’m not familiar with Butler. TVP is commonly sold here in supermarkets in different sizes, I usually get the strips.
Butler is the original brand that made soy curls. It sounds like your tvp strips are comparable.
If you have a Mexican market near you, check out the bagged spices section. There’s usually tvp in decent sized bags near the dried spices and it’s really cheap.
