Since there’s so much content out there, I always have trouble picking something to start watching. One sleepless night I was scrolling through endless netflix trailers anr saw business purposal. I thought “screw it” I’ll just start watching it and I was instantly hooked.

I watched the whole series in a couple of days with my wife. We both loved it (although I thought the end was a little weak). But the thing is I’ve never heard seen any convos about it online. Granted I’m I don’t really follow many kdramas groups any longer but still, I figured some people would have talked about it.

Maybe I’m just too late to the discussion? Any other fans out there?

This post is a few days old, but I’m only now seeing this, so sorry if its a bit late.

I liked it a lot. I especially loved the second couple, although I think that’s mainly because I’m a bit biased towards Seol In Ah. Overall, I think it’s pretty good, although I do think the ending could have been better, like it ended too early.

I totally agree about the ending. But in my honest opinion, I think a lot of kdramas don’t have great endings.

      spoiler

I really wish they could have shown the progression of the grandpa coming to terms with liking her instead of being whisked away to America and now he’s somehow okay with her???

I’m a little late to see your post as well.

I watched Business Proposal when it was airing and followed some of the discussions on Reddit’s Kdrama sub. It was one of the more popular dramas that gets talked about often, even now. Where do you normally see convos about Kdramas? Because I see this drama mentioned often on MyDramaList and comments on Soompi as well, when anything related to romcom genre and/or the actors pops up.

I was a little bored with the drama at the beginning, but after a few episodes I was hooked with the development of the second couple. They have so much more chemistry than the first couple and just so fun to watch them together. I agree the ending was a little weak. If I’m not wrong, I read a comment that the drama was originally supposed to be longer but they decided to cut it down to 12 episodes, hence the somewhat abrupt ending. I just couldn’t believe they planned for a longer series since there was barely any materials left after both couples got together.

Overall, I enjoyed it and got me interested enough to watch the actors interact with each other on interviews and games after the drama ended.

Well I guess I don’t really have a place other than here to discuss kdrama. I used to a very tiny bit on reddit and occasionally I see kdrama come up on Mastodon.

But it’s good to know I was wrong, that it is fairly popular!
