So I’m a quite a huge concert goer and also someone who’s VERY picky about how my music sounds.
Just find myself so frustrated with “high fidelity plugs” these days. The music I love to listen to is really signature for a piercing high end and so I’ve always been very picking about how my highs sound. I bought a pair of Etymotics that don’t really do their job, so I upgraded and bought a pair of Earpeaces to only have the same problem. The bass is way too loud, and I can barely hear the other frequencies so often times, I find myself pulling the plugs out a little bit to let in more highs just so it sounds balanced and I can actually enjoy the music.
This gives me slight ear ringing after every show, and while it’s nowhere even remotely close to how it would be if you didn’t wear them at all (been there on my first show, never again), I really wanna start prioritizing my ears and just be able to put my plugs in and forget them. Also, the 2-3 day festivals really do take a toll on my ears I find.
What are some high-fidelity plugs that don’t have this issue?
