The instance was updated to the latest version v0.18.1 of lemmy. The update brings some design changes, stability updates and they removed lots of unnecessary request and error messages.

    The instance has to ‘know’ the comnunity once. Easiest way of letting it know: with your browser, go to a community or post of lemmy.world, copy the url and paste it in the search on the top right of feddit.ch. Our instance will then pull all the infos. Hope this helps

      Ok thanks, I knew it was this kind of problem, but I expected that if you are already federated with lemmy.world, then at least the list of all communities from there is available. Also using the full URL seems overkill, why doesn’t it working if I search for <community>@lemmy.world? 🤔

        This is a good question, which should probably answered by the devs. I didn’t find an open issue right now, but feel free to post one, if you feel you have a good idea. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues

        At first, i’d have to search for the community twice until the instance got a hold on it.
