Having grown up in the Midwest, I keep seeing these tornado warnings and prepping to head to the basement. My girlfriend who’s actually survived a Midwest tornado was laughing at me saying “oh honey, at worst it’s an F1, which is just more strong wind gusts.”

Which ok, fair, these aren’t as bad as tornado alley. But still, stay safe everyone!
