    @DenisCOVIDinfoguy@aus.social @auscovid19@a.gup.pe Fainting caused by lack of oxygen was one of the first things they warned about - hence getting yourself an O2 meter. We have gone so far backward in how we deal with this virus. Just a reminder - it is airborne & wear a mask. 🤦

      @ranil@zeroes.ca @DenisCOVIDinfoguy@aus.social @auscovid19@a.gup.pe at the local ED last week. The Triage Nurse rolled her eyes at the patient saying they had low O2 and a 118bpm heart rate as measured by a home pulsoeox meter.

      The ED doc insinuated the patient was making up / imagining the symptoms purely to get drugs, and even if those symptoms were present they are completely normal for covid infections and that anything the patient thinks they felt was due do being overweight so go home and lose weight fatso don’t come to emergency again you drug seeking idiot.

      (I’m slightly paraphrasing - they did not use those words exactly, but that was the insinuation and result)
