Another classic MTV Unplugged performance. What can you say.
If you’ve somehow never managed to see the rest, the complete set is highly recommend watching/listening.
I guess it all becomes classic rock eventually. Still though, much like how The Ramones is still punk, I’d say Kurt and co are still grunge. It’s a very specific vibe.
But it’s classic. And grunge is a type of rock music.
Crazy to think that it’s going to be 30 years ago, in November, since that session. I remember listening to the cassette on my yellow walkman on the bus to school in the mornings. Life was different back then. If I wanted to shuffle music I had to swap tapes or switch to K-ROCK. K-ROCK was eventually taken over by some Pop station and so I moved to the Classic Rock stations and my love for music took off.
