Although the Bavarian side immigrated to the United States in the 1890s and we’re actually a part of the last royal quart of Germany before the unification… sounds crazy, but I’ve actually seen the documents and proof from my grandfather before he died. My grandmother’s Prussian family, basically almost all of them are dead because they were massacred during World War II. I’m pretty sure the only her mother and one or two of her brothers got out.
