It’s crazy the amount of disinformation going on around this. The day the deal was announced I asked my buddy in the industry about it. He, right away, told me all the part timers are MAD and explained everything. I’ve tried to pass this info to the USW guys in my shop as to why/how this deal is so bad and they don’t believe me. My guys are going into contract negotiations soon here and if they think this was a good deal I’m worried they are going to get shafted again :/
Exactly. I know someone who spent the past decade being a part timer and now full time and he’s mad as hell and he will not vote to accept the deal.
