I have a USB-C monitor with some USB 3 ports on the back. I want to use the monitor ports with my desktop that doesn’t have USB-C. I also want to use the discrete GPU on the desktop, though, so I don’t think an adapter would work.

Any ideas?

The monitor is very similar to this one https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27ud68-p-4k-uhd-led-monitor

My GPU is an RX 580 8GB if that matters.
