So i have an entry level PC on which i mostly play games. Last week my harddrive had some issue which lead to my windows booting really slow and once booted it wont show my hdd (the windows is installed on my ssd) i got it fixed but lost my data so i went and formatted my windows so it basically became fresh no? So i have been playing witcher 3 with the next gen update it all works smooth until all of a sudden the game becomes super choppy like from a comfortable 50-60 to really bad frame drops in between . I checked my gpu and cpu usage it was all good and even my disk usage for both ssd and hdd are fine no spikes nothing , the fascinating thing is that the frame drops dont show up on my amd adrenaline pro . The game lags paired with a stuttery sound every time it does. And the lag not only stays in game but also happens in my windows once i close the game due to the uplayable stutters . Window Animations get slowed down/stutter and none of it shows up on any statistics of my computer.i checked it on other games it also happens there as well.i thought first it was the thermals but both cou and gpu are in 45-65 degrees. Then i have to restart my pc and it gets fine for another hour then its again the same. what should i do?
