I recently got a tplink wifi router to boost airtel fiber net throughout the house. Had some trouble with it since I couldn’t get the router to wirelessly connect to the modem. The technician came and that problem was solved.

A few days later I connected my hp laptop to the wifi and it works fine when I am near the modem. But when I took it to another room where the network should be boosted by the router, the connection weakens. I tried the quick setup of the router but the 192.168.0.1 site won’t open on my laptop as it did in my computer.

Mind you, all other devices that were not getting a good connection before in the room are now getting full connection. It’s just my laptop. It still gets a single bar from the network but that’s not enough.

What should I do??
