It’s incredible how people here lose all their driving skills (if they had any to begin with) on a rainy day. I was supposed to run a quick errand at lunchtime and looked up my route to make sure there aren’t any flood closures on the way. Then my wife talked me out of it when she reminded me it’s not the rain or floods that are dangerous, it’s the other people around you who don’t know how to drive in rain.
