In games, Cyberpunk 2077 really scratches the itch.
For movies, I’ll put up Blade Runner 2049. May be some recency bias, but man that movie just nails it. I recently watched the original and 2049 over a weekend, and IMO 2049 edges it out. It kept the unanswered question of the original in tact (Is Deckard a replicant?), and introduced a similar question, is Joi’s love for Joe real? Watching the emotional trauma and transition of K into Joe is another great selling point for this movie.
