Fuck this marketing bullshit surrounding ecofriendly products.

My problem is that a lot of them don’t do shit at offsetting our carbon footprint since most of it comes from energy and transportation.

    You need to do extensive research before finding out how ecofriendly a product is. Buying a ‘sustainable’ Nike running shirt is not that sustainable. Buying a running shirt from a local company can be. I bought one from an Amsterdam based company that produces plastic free, sustainably made, worker friendly made (i.e. them making 1.7x the minimum wage in Portugal/Greece) running shirts. But you just have to find them and they’re not sold at big brand stores.

    It’s pretty tiring sometimes.
