I really hope this is a joke because the egg stuff can be quite hurtful to femboys and GNC people, it’s often used against them to say that they’re just trans girls in-denial (especially for the ones who took feminizing hormones). Just for clarity to call a Femboy a girl when they don’t want it, is misgendering, calling them an egg is extremely disrespectful and invalidates their gender identity.
I know this might’ve been a joke but all too often these kinds of things are said in contexts where it isn’t a joke and comes off as hurtful. Also it’s often very hard for people to tell because one person may say it as a joke but another person may mean it whole heatedly.
GNC stands for Gender Non-conforming, sorry I didn’t clarify that. I thought most people knew what it means.
Though I guess the Egg stuff can also be quite harmful to Genderfluid people too since a lot of times they are either very ignorant or inconsiderate towards genderfluid people, thankfully it doesn’t happen here on the Fediverse (at least mostly) but it was quite the problem back in the day on Reddit.

So, “egg” is a popular description of trans people who don’t yet know/accept/think of themselves as trans. Not a precise description but it gets the jist across. The idea being, they’re still in their shell, they haven’t cracked it and grown into themselves yet. There are people out there who think masculine girls and feminine boys are just eggs, essentially trans and in denial about it. It can be a bit of a touchy subject. The above persons comment honestly gave me that vibe, so I wanted to say something about it
