Humans have certainly worked for a good portion of their lives throughout history, though the amount worked, who works, and how its benefits are distributed has changed quite a bit depending on what place and timeframe you’re looking at.

I think it feels more like a scam the further separated you are from the benefits of your work.

I’m trying to figure out how to quit my job and still feed myself and my family but it’s just not coming to me.

When I see these posts, I picture the tweet came from these guys.

You move ahead in life, and if that means money to you, cool, by providing value to society. Yes, many earn money providing little or no value, and that’s a BIG fucking problem we gotta figure out.

But I see shit like this and think, “Did you expect a free ride? TANSAAFL.”

I wanna know who the 10 people are that down voted this. Like, are they just sitting there thinking that it’s cool to do that?
