I am on a crazy long cold streak, where I get kills, but haven’t gotten a bounty in a while. My hunt dollars are getting dangerously low.
Old thread but anyway: kinda meh. My buddies and I with whom I play have gotten to the point where we stomp in 4 stars and get absolutely rolled in 6 stars, but there’s so little leeway that a good game can cause a whole session to go off the rails, loss after loss.
Had 40k in the bank during the Skinned questline, held myself to it until the start of this event. I’m down to 19k, last week I was down to 11k. MMR changes have definitely screwed my team.
Howdy! Just took a huge Hunt break assuming I’d get a little burnt out on the next event. Played 4 games or so 2 nights ago, and 3 games or so yesterday.
What kind of loadouts are you running? Maybe you can go cheap and do the wildcard to squeeze out some extra dollars?
For me, it was a typical Hunt experience where every game was “weird”. 3 games of gentlemanly bounty extraction, nobody came for us, 1 game against 3 stars who were bushwookie-ing so hard we never even heard footsteps as we all played around the dead bodies of our and their teammate, and they got us, 1 win with like 8 kills against a single team (super coordinated and super committed to revives), and then one crazy game where we took single bounty at Kingsnake and heard shots all the way up the right side of DeSalle, and we pushed the noise just to fight goddamn something only to find picked ammo crates and no people and no bodies, so we left. Have to assume it was a 3 team fight at Lower or First and the winning team limped out.
Yesterday was a little cold, playing duos up into trios. Flashed a trio getting assaulted by another team and somehow they perfectly avoided every obstacle only to spin and shotgun us down. Another game - solo killed one trio only for the last trio to slowly roll up and catch us while picking over bodies and mentioning it’s weird we don’t know what happened to the last team and that they would be so late.
All in all, on reflection I guess that’s a typical Hunt experience, haha!
