I decided to recreate a Cardano community on this Lemmy instance. Hopefully, we can rebuild our community here and stand by the principles that Cardano is rooted in rather than crawling back to Reddit.

    I hope this sub will not be as over-moderated like it used to be on reddit. Interesting to see how long it will take to get to a million users here…

      As a mod here, I, for one, will be pretty gentle about moderation. However, I’m also attempting to bring in the moderators from Reddit (one is signed on already). So, it has the potential to be similar. I can imagine that moderation of a million users for a cryptocurrency project would be extremely difficult compared to what we have here which is just 6 users at the moment.

        Glad to read that. The million user comment was not coupled to the moderation experience on reddit though. There are ~700k members, many from the last bull. It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes, if ever, to reach those numbers here. But I’m a hopeful one and say: only 999,994 999,993 999,991 999,988 999,986 999,970 999,942 more new subs to go!
