They should add a new sport to the Olympics called Mental Gymnastics and invite people with UA flags in their Twitter handle to compete

So what’s gonna happen when every news publication says that Ukraine is getting their ass kicked and always have been? Cause you can’t lie forever, eventually it comes out.

Honestly, I can’t wait to see what sort of mental gymnastics we’ll see then. Libs never acknowledge being wrong and they have an infinite number of fall back positions. For example, the whole framing of the war was that Ukraine is defending western values and democracy against Russian autocracy. Then Zelensky cancels elections, and they were like, “well it’s war, you know, you gotta do whatever it takes” and “yeah they’re being invaded, you enact martial law, it’s what you do”.

And this is the pattern you see everywhere with these people. Sometimes they will just flip positions entirely without ever acknowledging it. Before the Snowden leaks, it was widely considered a conspiracy theory to believe the government was monitoring all of your digital communications. They’d be like “you think you’re so important that the government would monitor you?” and “if this was happening, someone would have leaked it by now” and so on. Then Snowden presented the evidence and they smoothly switched to “we always knew this to be the case”.

I expect a similar thing will happen with Ukraine when they’re no longer able to pretend that Russia is weak and losing. They’ll just flip to “yeah of course Ukraine could never defeat Russia, but with our help we stopped Russia from taking all of Ukraine”, or “we set up a government in exile”, or whatever it is they choose to spin as their big win. All the original goals will be promptly forgotten, and they’ll just move on to pretending that their new position is the one they had all along.

Taking territory wasn’t even one of Russia’s goals, so them celebrating “Russia didn’t take all of Ukraine” is gonna be a completely moot point 🤷🏿‍♂️

They can be lied to and gaslit and they’ll be fine with it, as long as they get to continue living in relative comfort

Indeed, it’s pretty funny when you ask libs to show Russian statements to substantiate the objectives libs assign to them, and they go oh well they won’t say what their objectives are. Then how do you know what they are motherfucker?!

The consequences of censoring all Russian media lol. We don’t know what they’re planning because we silenced them so we fill the gaps in our knowledge with fanfiction. And then call Russians liars when they don’t follow our script, which justifies further aggression from us. It’s a fucking circus

Russia being clear from the beginning about their goals hasn’t stopped libs from writing an article about how puttin wants to roll tanks into Paris every week.

Yeah, exactly, but honestly this is entirely predictable and hence not really something to look forward to.

The only thing that will change their tune is when their own personal livelihoods are threatened. Then they’ll beg and cry and curse everyone for having betrayed them. Everyone else will be at fault except them.

You don’t need to guess, that’s literally what is happening right now.

The New York Times, Washington Post, Guardian, The Independent, Newsweek, they all had articles pointing out that Ukraine is running out of stuff.

In fact, it’s so coordinated I’m guessing that the West is preparing people for the eventual abandonment of the war.

How incredibly psychotic is it to cheerlead a war from a thousand miles away, and when the soldiers start to claim that all is lost you foam at the mouth and call them fifth columnists. “No, slavboy - fight until your own pointless death for MY vicarious edification!”

Can’t wait for the lib meltdowns calling zelensky a Russian puppet when he starts peace talks.

Liberals are dead serious when they say they want this war fought to the last Ukrainian.

“Stop with the doom and gloom posts already! As bad as the situation can be it’s never a good or smart idea to demoralize Ukraine supporters and defenders.”

I just find it so hilarious how these people literally admit that their ability to pretend everything is alright is more important than the actual facts even if they’re true 🤣 And of course, it’s not even about the morale of Ukrainians, but the morale of the western Twitter users cheering for more bloodshed, it’s funny how honest they are about it now

People were joking the other day that people would start calling Kyiv Independent “Russian propaganda” when they run out of other sources to complain about, I didn’t think it would happen so soon lamo

So Kyiv Independent, which was worshipped as the most ‘reliable’ source of information on Ukraine by the racist white diaspora imperialists, is now the target of slanders by their former supporters because it cannot lie enough to serve the NATO violent fantasy? Are the Liberals still using the red scare claim that the Communists are so hard working and innovative that the invisible hand is promoting ‘evil Communist mastermind’ into key positions of Western European diaspora as a excuse to enforce totalitarian control over the invisible hand, democracy, and free market in their self contradiction?

because it cannot lie enough to serve the NATO violent fantasy?

I doubt this is the reason for the sudden change of heart. I feel like this is a prelude to changing the narrative and claiming that “ackshually, we were never claiming that Ukraine was 100% certainly going to win…”

Lol as soon as they start having to see any bad news, the attitudes of comfortable twitter warriors goes from slava ukrani to the same “Um excuse me, you should be dying quietly without complaint k thankss” that they reserve for everyone else outside their wine caves, from Palestinians to the homeless.
