Hey guys,
First time BMW owner, just got myself a 2019 X5 M50D (G05). An absolute beast, love the options especially the remote planned ventilation/ heating.
However, I saw a video of a someone clicking on the key 3 times to remote start the car but that doesn’t work and on the display key there is no option either.
I was under the impression that as long as you have pre heating and idrive 7 you should be able to remote start the car.
Am I doing it wrong or is there something I am missing?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the manual as it was lost by the previous owner…
Would love some input on wether or not that’s feasible? But if you know of any cool hidden features I’ll gladly take them!
This truly is the best car I’ve had before !

Decode your VIN and see if you have the feature. Some countries do not allow it. It can also possibly be bought as a subscription from the BMW store if you have the right hardware
Thanks for the response. Regarding the store I have every option bought so it’s definitely not that.
Could be region blocked as I am in Belgium. Do you know a good website where I can check this information ( VIN decoder).
