It’ll raise defensive options, saves for you and the party, and to hit and consequently damage. This will open up spirit guardians for your cleric as well. The only real reason to not cast bless for them so often. Misty step gets you out of grapples and opens up normally impossible movements. Such as misty stepping out of force wall, through something as small as a keyhole, to position for something the party needs to do so you don’t die or get left behind. These are highly valuable spells for a ranger.
