I’m talking about those that play the same games 2 or more times. You already know how the game plays and you know how the story goes. Wouldn’t you rather spend that time playing a new game? I’ve only got so much time to play and a I have huge backlog. I never found myself picking an game I’ve played already over a new one. I’d like to know your thoughts.
You should try it with games you have a forgotten memory of. Like games you haven’t played in years.
Honestly having your perspective sucks! I’ve had it, but when I have forgotten a game, it’s sometimes almost as good as the 1st time. Somewhere around 3 years at least.
Besides that I tend to stick to games that I find addicting as the replay value in those can last a long time. There’s games that are just one, and done. However there’s people that don’t have an issue replaying those one, and done games over, and over. I know it’s crazy, but that’s almost a luxury when otherwise you’re burnt out of options.
I think I will try replaying an old game or two just to see what it’s like. Maybe if I really enjoy it, I’ll do the same for other games I’ve played.
Ehh, I would say not every game hits the same. Sometimes you go back, and realize the games more shit then you thought lol. Like going back to childhood games can be nostalgic or sometimes I’ll be like , " Can’t believe I would play this shit", but it makes sense that I would feel that way back then.
If you’ve every played Need for speed games , those kind of do hit you. Not all of them, but some are just classic, and timeless no matter when you play them.
If you’re on console I feel like mileage is more limited, as some games have aged to shit.
