Just wondering if any of you already tried to kind of emulate navigation messages through obd to trigger the hud display like the native bmw nav app is doing ?

I don’t have an iPhone, so no carplay at all.

I think it’s not specific to a specific car, since message ids are generally “shared” between models.

BTW, I’m targeting an F48 2018. I don’t have it for the moment, I’m planning to buy it only if I have a solution 😁 (I really want android PLUS hud nav)

The final goal: allow every android users to just install an app and use their Android map apps to display navigation steps! (I’m a dev)
