Don’t get frustrated when you lose a game because of a 50/50 chance of a mine. Sometimes you are unable to predict where every mine is.
When you want another treat, go try Picross. There are a few of them published under Nintendo systems, otherwise I’m sure there are other ways to play.

I never could get into Mineseeper, Windows Solitaire was my time-waster of choice (which I see Microsoft still make freely available via their Microsoft Solitaire Collection).
I recently discovered my love for Minesweeper, especially after I learned about the chord/middle click. If you middle click the number after assigning proper number of flags around it then you dig everywhere around it saving your time. Feels like cheating sometimes.
All you people that claim that you never knew how to play… Did you ever try it or just opened it, closed it and run with it being impossible to understand? It’s a pretty simple game.
