Thinking about upgrading from a CX-30 to a CX-50 next year and wondering what it might cost to lift it to give it a few more inches of ground clearance. My wife likes that Jeeps sit up higher making it easier to see in traffic, park, etc, so I’m wondering if we can mimic that a bit with a CX50.
Any advice?
There are lots of threads on Jeep forums about lifting. Probably 80% of the posts are of the form “I lifted my Jeep and now I have problem how do I fix it” and the answer is you need to spend a lot more money and screw around with a lot more components in your suspension. And then you will have different problems maybe worse.
