I’m pretty out of the loop with AMD processors right now.
I’m still on a R5 2600 but the 5800X3D is the best CPU my motherboard supports.
Would it be worth it over a non-X3D chip? From what I understand (and that’s not much), you see the biggest benefit when gaming.
I sometimes load up FS2020 or something but I wouldn’t call myself hardcore.
I do mess with a lot of AI stuff but that’s mostly GPU.
Depends on the difference in price.
Here in Australia, the 5700X is $269 while the 5800X3D is $549, so twice as much money. The X3D may be better but it’s not twice as good
