    You can get the 12900KS for $350 on Amazon right now. You said your budget was $400 so that covers sales tax. Lol. But a 13600k/14600k or 13700k will be just fine.

    If it were me, I would go 13700k. Amazing gaming performance, gives you access to ddr5 RAM and you won’t be hindered by CPU-bound games. Where are you at in the world? Just curious for sale prices… some really good deals out there right now.

    You can’t go wrong with the i5-14600K, fits your budget and won’t bottleneck anything

    13600k or 14600k. Both have an awesome perk: none of them has sophisticated frequencies. Every i7 or i9 have a range of frequencies to use based on loads, those i5 not, their turbo boost is always the same whether is single core or multi, that’s make the easier and funnier to overclock. (I7 and i9 is not overclock anymore, usually is more tuning to make them more efficient with some mhz extra)

    Buy the 14700kf. It’s really good, and with the added cores, just better value. Make sure to update the bios first.
