Wouldn’t the latter give you lower input lag and better gameplay even though the frame rate is lower?

I found a site ShareDeck via googling people posting about it here 8 months ago but it doesn’t seem that people use it a whole ton. It could be very useful it’s just that more people need to use it and make reports.

So a question, i mentioned it in my last post but I’m not sure if anyone will see it cause its an edit but the per game profiles are those made by valve or et by the Deck initially? For example I loaded up The Divosion and Persona 4 and when I toggled the per game profiles in the performance blade, it had those games set at 90hz and no other settings were changed. Yes they both looked great but I’m interested in balancing for battery life and smooth gameplay. There are a bunch of settings (that I have no idea what they mean) that I would think I could tweak to get better battery life at good performance.

My understanding is that the per game profile will default to a standard system wide set up until you then tweak the settings. Once you tweak those settings whilst in a game (and you’ve got per game profile set to on), these settings will be saved for this game the next time you open it.

This means you can set up your own settings for each of your games - Steam doesn’t provide you with a per game default profile it’s just a default system wide one.

      Hope that makes sense.
