I have NEVER seen an LFC jersey out in the streets ( NYC ) and La lol
Hmm I’ve seen a bunch in Boston. I also saw people wearing LFC, Chelsea, and USA kits to Arsenal V Manu over the summer.
Most of their sales come from Asia
Same, at lollapalooza I saw so many arsenal shirts
Ain’t no way Arsenal is so low
Adidas must be braindead if that is the case
The away black kit was such a hit that it basically sold out at the start of the season and remained sold out throughout the season
If they had keep producing it, the numbers would be higher
How is that low for arsenal? You above every Italian club
Did any disaster relief orgs make a bulk order for commemorative Liverpool 2022 CL winner shirts?
3.5m units of shirts were sold in 20-21 season by Bayern. Now the club with most sold is at 1.8m. This must be some data in a particular region.
Tbf, I don’t think I’ve ever seen 2 sources with the same shirt sale numbers. It’s the same sources that say Messi sold 1.5m PSG shirts or Ronaldo sold 1.2m Juventus shirts in a 2 weeks.

Surprised inter miami or al nassr isn’t here
People recognize Ronaldo and Messi. They don’t recognize the jersey nearly as much. I’m pretty sure a large portion of new Inter Miami or Al-Nassr “fans” wouldn’t be able to identify the jerseys without the famous people in them.
I know someone who suddenly became a very vocal supporter of Al-Nassr and the Saudi league after Ronaldo moved there. After a while I asked him which city Al-Nassr play in. The answer was a blank stare.
These people don’t buy shirts. They express their “support” by commenting under 10-second videos on social media.i reckon they’d be up there with fake jerseys tbh.
Did you count them?
hence the reckon.
ronaldo and messi have a lot more power than half the teams listed
No, they don’t…
Its 22/23 season. They might be up there for this season
Fake
I fail to see how Man City can sell more shirts than Arsenal or PSG. Arsenal has a massive following, plus they are in London which gets more tourists, therefore getting the odd sales.
PSG is another thing. French rappers wear them in their clips. I believe one guy even shot his video at the Parc des Princes.
I dont know. Something does not add up.
Because football exists outside of England. City has the 5th highest social media following from all the clubs, they are extremely popular around the globe, amazing football, successfull AND they have players like Haaland.
City is very much liked everywhere, except for England and Germany. Its the same for PSG, very popular everywhere. I dont know how that is so hard to believe ?
In truth, this sub and everybody that “hates” the plastic club are a very tiny minority, people dont give as much shit as some might think.
These are estimates by some random marketing guy in Germany (that’s why they are all near round numbers). As I couldn’t find out how exactly he estimated these numbers, I would not rely on him.
This is probably world wide Londons tourism influence isn’t even a rounding error
You gotta realise how huge part of these sales are from outside of Europe. PSG and their Jordan collab made them really popular in the states and in eastern asia. And city are currently the best and most successful team in the world, giving them high sales.
What isn’t added is the amount of people obsessed with these clubs that can’t afford legit merchandise. Soooo many Real Madrid kits I see are blatant bootlegs
I blame Adidas, they didn’t make enough away kits for arsenal last season.
Maybe they had a policy where English refs that got paid to be official in Qatar league needs to buy 10 City shirts every match /s
There are so many plastics in Asia and especially the US. Also, I’ve seen several kids run around in City jerseys, even though i come from a region where 99% of people are Bayern fans.
Kids will most likely follow the most popular players, instead of a club. And Mbappe and Haaland are just the new Messi and Ronaldo.
It takes time, but the times have changed. There’s a day you’d struggle to get a City shirt in Manchester never mind outside of the country.
They’ve had a lot of marketable stars, won major trophies, and been part of pop culture with things like Ted Lasso.
Why would a kid outside of London under 18 years old cheer for Arsenal over Man City? In many countries outside of England Man City is a lot more popular than Arsenal
I don’t know what planet you’re living on.
Even today more people start supporting the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United over City. Go to Africa, Asia, or Oceania and you’re still more likely to see people in an Arsenal, Chelsea, United or Liverpool kit than a Man City kit.
Maybe things are slowly changing, but as of now Man City is still not on those team’s level globally.
You even seen kids outside england? Hell no they’re not copping city shirts… United, Arsenal and Chelsea are still the most popular prem teams
I’m currently going around south east asia. It’s mostly United and Liverpool shirts with City in third.
Lots of Real and Barca as well but I was sticking to prem.
Not everywhere I’ve been
I am in a big city in Asia where wearing football shirts isn’t very popular, I’ve seen Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, Bayern, but I don’t think I’ve seen Man City.
Across my entire 34 years in Australia I’ve seen more Arsenal shirts with Rice 41 than I’ve seen Manchester City kits.
The world is bigger than just Australia mate
Crikey! You’re fair dinkum mate?
Because plenty of the people over the age of 18 they know will support Arsenal
Arsenal even being on this list with their atrocious away kit is a miracle
It’s 22/23 , that arsenal away kit was the best we have had in a while
That away kit is everywhere. Young Arsenal fans love it.
I’m willing to bet $10000 USD 8/10 outside of Madrid and another team are mostly fake plastic fans. Including Liverpool. Fake plastic fans.
Probably because they have Liverpool shops sprinkled all through out SE Asia and beyond. Do all other clubs have a dedicated retail wing that exists in malls etc?
Manchester United and Real Madrid have shops sprinkled around retail areas.
How long more will United sell so many shirts lol
For couple more decades because they’ve support of most millennials and baby boomers.
