The answer is, unless all you do is play indie games or older games, no. Just upgrade your PC and it’ll run circles around the deck.
The deck is great at handheld gaming. It’s not really that great docked. It works but the performance just isn’t there, especially if you’re plugging into a 4K TV.
It all depends on what level of performance vs price vs convenience you want. For me SD docked is the best solution because I don’t mind 30FPS and I appreciate steamOS managing everything for me vs having to mess with hardware and windows and drivers and other BS.
