Being such a masterpiece, I always wonder why the LFA didn’t do well when it first came out. Yet now you see them selling for damn near $1M. It’s like Van Gogh. No one appreciated the work of art until it was gone. But why?

Because most people didn’t see it as a “masterpiece” and still don’t, and comparing it to Van Gogh is ridiculous.
It looks like ass imo, heavy boy racer modified with a body kit vibes, cost way too much for what you got (it was slow compared to cars that cost half it’s price), and not even the 400 they sold were spoken for at launch unlike every other “super rare exotic”. The only thing it has going for it is sound, which is a shit reason to choose it over the competiton. It’s also a Lexus and the badge is only worth so much to the rich people who would be buying one of them.
The only reason they sell for so much now isn’t because they’re a “masterpiece”, but because rich people who like cars want to be able to say they have one. It’s a car they only made 400 of and it’s a good car, but not nearly worth the money it costs even back at msrp.
