Who do you think is the “mystery” player that gets moved at the trade deadline? Do you think this will a role player, star, all star etc?

We’ve heard a lot about players on the Bulls, possibly the Raptors, the Lakers (by way of Bull’s rumors) thus far

I think Klay should be allowed to retire a Warrior. And they should see wassup with Paul for at least a year before they trade him. I think they just need time to figure it out.

I dunno man, maybe it’s just some random dude from the G-League or something. But seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lesser-known role player gets moved to a contender. Happens all the time in this league.

Lauri is only 26, it’s likely he hasn’t even hit his prime yet, if they were going go trade lauri, it wouldn’t be this year it’d be the next or the year after and only if they get really good draft picks that make them change the timeline, otherwise lauri is the timeline

Lauri is already 26 and has pretty much hit his ceiling. He only has 2 years left on his deal. I could easily see a team like the Sixers or Mavs being intrested in him. The Jazz sit at the 12 seed in the east they don’t have any real playoff aspirations so why hold onto him?

I do understand he’s on a good deal, but that deal is expiring next year where he can leave in free agency. If the Jazz were looking to move him this season would be a good time too.

I.Lauri is already 26 and has pretty much hit his ceilingif a team gave the jazz a good enough offer he could easily be traded.sily be traded.

Tobias harris dudes been kinda chilling in philli for a while, the fanbase is very mixed on him, he’s a good enough player to move the needle, but not good enough he has some impossible price tag, and he’s been in trade rumour very consistently throughout his career.

Now for a player I want traded that I don’t think will actually happen but I want to see what they can do on a better team, tre Jones.

I just love point guards who take care of the ball and are pass first, and he could be a rather good backup for a playoff team, they would have to have good defence, and a need for playmaking (preferably a team with spacing)

Maybe rockets, maybe thunder, maybe cavs, could do magic but the spacing wouldn’t be that great with tre.

I think both Saddiq Bet and Precious Achiuwa could be moved. Both the Hawks and Raptors are outside of really contending (Hawks could have an insane Cinderella run but super unlikely).

Atlanta has a huge payroll for next season and unless they move someone else they’re not going to be able to afford Bey, who is a RFA and will be taking the biggest deal possible. A lot of teams will see value in Bey. Just looking at Atlanta’s books I don’t see anyone they’d move to keep Bey, unless they think they can move Hunter or Bogs in the offseason for no salary back just to re-sign Bey. I don’t imagine that’s what they want. Bey is a 6’7’’ shooter, plenty of contenders would pay for the rental.

The Raptors are in a slightly different situation financially. They have the money to retain Achiuwa, but they’re not anywhere near competing to win it all. Achiuwa is a good player but he hasn’t gotten better the last few seasons. Also a RFA, he’s going to be looking for the biggest deal possible. Toronto isn’t in a place to be locking up long term money to a guy who is probably best suited as a 3rd big off the bench. Toronto could trade Siakam, but even then, the financial flexibility of not retaining Achiuwa is probably more useful than bringing him back at a premium price. Toronto may be more interested in getting an asset back than lose him for nothing in the offseason.
