Got my OLED Deck a few days ago. Besides the 200/1040 bug that I also have which I hope gets solved soon, I don’t think I’ve had any other major problems.
Only real issue right now are the slow download speeds, which for me it averages 25MBps (maybe it’s my router’s problem idk). So I decided to get an Ethernet/USB-C adapter for when I need to download big games.
I was gonna use it for the first time a few hours ago. But after plugging it on the Deck, it didn’t detect a wired connection at all. I thought it was the adapter’s fault, and I was starting to consider returning it. I tried to restart the Deck to see if that helped… and it did!
Right after restarting it with the adapter plugged in, it does detect the wired connection and I can download games at a much faster speed.
But if I try to unplug it and plug it again, it won’t detect it, unless I do a restart.
It’s not that big of a deal, but it’s a bit bothersome that everytime I want to use a wired connection I have to restart the Deck, has anybody heard of this issue?
In this video, he is able to plug it in while it is on and it automaticaly detects the ethernet cable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfG-gKOyKCc. This doesn’t not happen with my Deck :(
I tried to search for this problem on Google and here in the sub but couldn’t find anything.
