Essentially the title. Whether it be the players, the trophies/results, domestic game, or any other reason.

Also, PLEASE say your country! It makes this much easier to understand. Thank you!

Iraq 70s and 80s, managed to qualify for the only time wc 86, and won numerous trophies. They were an example for neighbouring countries and other Asian countries who are regularly qualifying for wc

Germany first golden era: 1972 - 76. 1x Euro cup, 1x World cup, 1x lost Euro cup final Second golden era: 1980 - 1996. 2x Euro cups, 1x World cup, 1x lost Euro cup final, 2x lost World cup finals.

    Pretty impressive I would say.

Why is everyone’s flair “soccer ball”

But to answer the question. NOW. Right NOW! We made a WWC semi final, we have a shot at winning the women’s olympics next year, and our mens team made the round of 16 at the last world cup!

The 70’s. We won the Champions League 4 times in a row and got to the WC final twice, once losing due to a diving German and the other time we hit the post in injury time, and that second time we did it even without our best play er, Johan Cruijff.

In my lifetime I’d say Mexico 99-2007. Absolutely dominated Concacaf (sadly lost to the US in 2002 but apart from that), a Copa America Final and a 3rd place if I remember correctly, a Confederations Cup and being pot 1 in the 2006 World Cup. Sadly lost to Argentina in extra time in the last 16. Also worth mention World Champions U17 in 2005. In 2007 was the last time Mexico won a knockout game outside of Concacaf, all downhill form there.

England? Probably right now tbh, 2018-Present. The prem is the richest league and most successful in Europe over the last 5 seasons. The national team has been pretty good. The talent pipeline has been fantastic and the future looks bright. England have a solid chance at winning this upcoming euros in 6 months time. England just rose to 3rd in the fifa rankings and you didn’t see people complaining, big sign of how far the team has come right there. End of the day, I’m living in the good old days right now so I might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

To be honest, now. At least for the last decades. We beat Germany, world champions of not even 10 years ago and I think we have a good chance of getting far in the upcoming Euro2024
