EDIT: I was able to start at quest number 4 with console command setstage tg04 10. It doesn’t appear anything not completed in 3 is missing and I’m finally able to progress after months of scorn from mercer(the bastard) and Brynjolf.

My first playthrough of the game this year, and got lost enjoying different storylines, as we often do. My main love is the primary thieves guild quests and delvin/vex side quests; I’ve completed opening all 4 or 5 cities to the guild and it’s at “full strength” but Mercer and brenjolf won’t talk to me for ages so I must be mid-quest on something but nothing is on my quest to complete?

I know I’ve completed the first two primary (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Thieves_Guild_(faction)) quest items, a chance arrangement and taking care of business as I have the TCOB achievement. I feel like I’m stuck or glitched somewhere on main quest #3 dampened spirits; I replayed it and the beehives are burned and the safe is empty.

Quest #4 I can get assigned as brjnolf/mercer won’t talk to me and I believe they assign it, I can’t get into the meadery, etc.

I have completed hundreds of quests…is there a way I can find out where I am on these otherwise? Are there any glitches to Loud and Clear or Dampened Spirits

    You might be able to try putting

    getstage TG03

    in the console to figure out where the game thinks you are in the quest. The quest page on UESP should have a table at the bottom that gives a breakdown of what the values mean. You can try doing what the quest expects of you, or using

    setstage TG03 [stage]

    to put the quest back on track. Make sure to make a save before messing with the console, last time I broke something with it, I had to redo 10 hours since my last save

      Says 0.00. 3 beehives are destroyed and I already looted the safe which happens at end of quest. Any way to restart it? So weird.

    I love this game, but it sure has more bugs than a Parisian bed.

    I don’t have any help to offer, I have quite a few quests stalled myself.
