Jude Bellingham has taken Real Madrid and World Football by a storm right now!
He’s gathered 15 goals + 4 assists in just 16 games for Real Madrid breaking the records of Puskas, Di Stefano and Ronaldo himself. All of this while just recently turning 20 years old, with his entire career ahead of him.
What he’s doing is unheard of, perhaps only Ronaldo Fenomenon himself had a better start to the season than him as a 20 years old.
The differentiator however is his impact in the game, he’s truly bossing the free role at Madrid contrubuting in goals, assists, key passes, dribbles, crosses, headers, flicks, finishing, playmaking, 1-2 passing, off ball movements, interceptions, tackles, positioning, strength, dominating, work rate and even leadership… There is truly nothing that this boy can’t do!
I genuinely cannot point a single weakness in his game right now, he’s top of the charts for almost all attributes since the start of the season. So these achievements so far in the season brings the question, What is his ceiling as a footballer provided he continues this streak? Generational? All-Timer? GOAT candidate?
Looks likely to be up there with the greatest players ever in La Liga.
Beyond that depends on RM’s competitiveness in the CL over the next decade, and England’s in the big tournaments.
Would still love to see him play week in week out in the Premier League. But RM and La Liga makes a lot of sense in terms of winning the CL and having a long international career.

It’s hard to think he’s gonna get better. He’s already crazy good. It’s consistency that’ll really make him great. Nobody expects the scoring to continue because it’s crazy but he’s the type to have a good game without having to score so he’ll be just fine when the scoring slows down.
Ye in terms of short term form this is as good as it will ever get for him. Outscoring the greatest goalscorer or all time… From midfield.
The question is what can he do long term.
I didn’t expect him to score this many and I don’t think anyone else did either. He wasn’t brought to RM to be one of their main goalscorers, this kind of happened by accident. I can see him maybe getting 20+ goals per season on a regular basis over the next 8 years or so, but probably quite a few less if they bring in an elite striker like Mbappé, who would need to be getting on the end of most goals.
Who else was going to score the goals for them though? Not exactly got world class forwards do they apart from maybe Vini who is overrated by the media.
Its La Liga we are talking about not the PL , players are good because they are good not because English media pumps them up. Vini is genuinely a star.
He’s a more prolific scorer at real Madrid (so far) than at Dortmund. He never really needed to score to have a great match at Dortmund and influence a game.
Actually I do expect the scoring to continue as long as he plays in those positions.
He has great finishing, his goal scoring ratio this season is not luck.
If Madrid signs a true 9 and see that the team plays better with Bellingham on the center of the pitch, then yeah he’s not going to score as often
But this season? I’d bet he’s going to destroy Lampard’s record.
Yeah it’s the consistency AND the moments that will dictate his legacy for me. He doesn’t need to keep up this level of scoring but if he shows up in a major way in int. tournaments and CL KOs then sky is the limit.

Greatest English player of all time will be decided when he hangs his boots. But I’ll say he is definitely on track with his performances at the moment.
He’s at the right club but decades of watching has taught me there is no guarantee of progressions football isn’t linear 🤷 it only takes an ACL injury for a career set back
Consistently doing that over a decade will cement him as a footballing great. Right now he’s had a banging start to the season at arguably the World’s biggest club.
His ceiling? Who knows. He may be burned out by the time he’s 24 or he may be able to do what the greatest players do and reinvent themselves when the going gets tough.
I have high hopes for him.
Dude IS the ceiling. If he doesn’t get injured, he’s a GOAT candidate. If he does get injured, he’ll still be a generational talent, assuming it’s not too soon. “Injured” includes both physical and other issues of course, who knows if he decides to burn down his house with fireworks or crashes his fancy car.
Generational means once in a generation(or least it used to be) reserved for that special player who comes along once every 20 years or so. Pele, MAradonna, R9, Messi. People said Mbappe was this generations generational talent. Then it was Haaland and now its Jude hmmm. I think that word has just about lost all meaning
There can be drops in form without injuries. I’m not saying it is, but it could just be a purple patch we’re witnessing. Let him finish a season first

He is an amazing player without the goals (MVP of the German league with 19 years and without much goals).
If he is healthy; he is a hard working player, with the right mindset, all will depend on his team partners and the trophies he win.
didn’t deserve mvp of the German league icl. Musiala deserved it more, have u seen how he played throughout then season? Then also the title winning goal just to get robbed off both German league mvp and golden boy.
Musiala was amazing, so was Jude. That said, Bellingham was much more impactful for Dortmund than Musiala for Bayern. To the point that him getting injured might have been one major reason why Dortmund weren’t champions going into the final day, and why Musiala’s last goal even meant anything.
