We’ve begun looking into a new Toyota for our family, specifically either a 2024 Grand Highlander Hybrid or Sienna Hybrid. After calling a dozen local dealers, I found that none of them have even one of the two models we are evaluating.

Wondering if the production issues Toyota experienced earlier this year are persisting, or if this is normal in late November for Toyota - meaning that they are simply at the early stages of ramping the next year models.

Toyota hybrids are the most in demand segment right now.

The Ev craze has all but died down with all manufacturers giving steep discounts for cars no one wants.

Meanwhile everyone said toyota was dumb for doing hybrids and people finally see the light.

Epic gas mileage and range. Plug ins have best of both. Stupid reliable.

So the ones that are available have markups and they get snatched up quick.

Good luck on your hunt. My dad just recently got a grand highlander hybrid max without a markup but he was trading in a hybrid highlander so the dealer saw a worthy trade they could make money on.
