Not counting the added features, font and emoji changes since those are all subjective.

Since it was made available to me (T-Mobile S22 128GB) I’ve WAY less frame drops and the animations themselves seem smoother.

I haven’t had it long enough to notice a difference in battery performance but it’s something I plan to pay close attention to considering the terrible battery life the base S22 has had previously.

Before I got my One UI 6 update, you would think all the comments from others that did update that the phone was in a coma or something.

Honestly, I think the One UI 6 hate train is a bit excessive. It neither made my phone worse or significantly better. Which I don’t think is a bad thing. Main concern was if this update would ruin my already pleasant battery experience and after a week or so, it seems about the same.

Now… Yeah, those emojis. Okay if there had to be one slipup, I guess I’d rather that take the L than other core phone features. 🤷‍♂️

New updates Don’t make phone battery worse as far as i have noticed after a new update phone battery drains slightly faster, but after a week it goes away when the system and hardwares adapt to the new version better. People need to be patience, phone needs some time to adjust to a new version.

Better performance on the S22+ Exynos here! I don’t like the other aspects of OneUI 6 though so that’s a bummer, but it is still nice that my phone feels lightly smoother

One u.i 6 absolutely looks prettier than any other update I’ve gotten. SO much less drop frames and stutters. The overall animations are basically the same but there’s more consistency.

That said, it’s DEFINITELY glitcher than other updates and i hate how they removed the finder app.

I don’t like new font, don’t like new buttons for wifi and BT in control center, new battery statistics is so terrible I stopped opening it as I am getting no useful information there.

Battery life - on some days seems better, on other days seems worse.

I beg to differ, ever since the update, I have been unable to pair my Bluetooth devices back to the phone. It made me unpair them due to the device not wanting to connect to the phone in the first place, and now none of them will appear on the device list at all.

I like it apart from the bland colourless control centre… And the colours you can use are just as bad.

I’m overall satisfied. I like the fonts and some minor difference in animation(I’m a sucker for animation).

It was a tad bit glitchy after updating it but restarted twice and it was solid already.

I haven’t noticed any difference in battery life or speed, same as before. Some UI Elements look different but that’s about it.

I’m obsessed with that software I have Galaxy A71 with last One UI version 5.1 and Android 13. I might get the foldable phones but way expensive so I’ll wait once their prices down.

it made my phone a little worse animations and stability wise, so i went back to one ui 5 and will stay here until i feel better about upcoming updates. i am not missing on any features so i’m not complaining. i am satisfied with one ui 5.
