I must have over looked this feature, but it seems BT keyboard/mice/controllers (not tested all those yet) Can wake up the OLED deck.
I was sitting at my Desktop PC, the OLED was in its case in my lunchbox, I had grabbed the wrong mouse, next thing i see was a notification on my Steam Game that “OledDeck” was ready for streaming… Checked the Lunchbox and sure enough, the deck was now on.
Glad i saw that message, otherwise the thing might have been on, in its case, for most of the night.
Just something interesting I thought.
Anyone else noticed any surprise features of the OLED Deck that are easy to overlook?
Thanks for the heads-up. Disabling bluetooth now…
Reading its a feature of the OLED but not LCD Deck due to having a Low Energy Bluetooth chip. I do recall seeing people asking about the feature for the Deck a few months back. Guess valve delivered.
Ha, unintended consequences…
You mean unforeseen consequences…
Ha, unintended consequences…
All I can think about is how big is your damned lunchbox?
