With vehicle idling i get surges in the engine bay about every 3 seconds for about 1 aecond. I tried to record video of it but i doesnt show up in the sound. Its more a vibration thing but it is audible when in the vehicle.

    It sounds like it has something to do with the ac compressor which cycles on and off like that. Stick your head in the engine pay and see if that is the case. The compressor will likely be at the front of the block, near the bottom.

      That was my thought too, just didnt want to lead anyones thoughts if i wasnt correct. Yeah, its down near the alternator at right front tire. Almost 10pm here now and not hurting anything so will try to check tomorrow after wifey home from work.
