Used 8 Series seem to have come down quite significantly in price recently. I’m coming from a GT86 myself but my dad has a 440i and finds the maintenance pretty reasonable and actually fairly comparable to the Toyota (aside from tyres).
I was originally considering a F82 440i of my own but the used 840 isn’t much more expensive and seems to have far more standard equipment, and I find it equally good looking.
Any advice on the maintenance and difference in driving between the two? Thanks!
Not test driven the 8 just yet but I love the 4 to drive (on the few occasions I’ve been able).

I got my 840i recently, with BMW Personalised Pricing in the UK, you get some discount on parts and realistically it didn’t seem too much more expensive than for example, a 4 series. Pricing tyres I can find them for same price/cheaper than 19 inch tyres for the old 3 series
