I’m familiar with emulation and emudeck but not on steam deck. I assume this is something to do with shader caching but it just wont go away no matter how much i play.
I’m currently playing zelda wind waker GC version on dolphin. I have the widescreen and hd mods on it and no matter how busy or active the screen is, it’s always 30 fps. The issue comes when fighting enemies. If i lock on to a enemy i drop to 16 fps that gradually rises to 30 fps and the next (same) monster i fight starts at a bit higher fps and gradually goes to 30. If i happen to fight a third monster of the same type then it stays at a stable 30 but there has to be something i can do about this cause i cant always kill 2 mobs before i can play the game without stuttering and audio issues.
I have enabled shader pre-caching in the dolphin emulator.
