New OLED arrived today and I’m here with the deck fumes comparison.

As others have stated, the new deck is a bit sweeter than the original LCD. Notes of brown sugar, molasses, and battery mixed with the classic deck fume smell we all know and love.

TBH I’d say 2023 is a unique year in the deck fume lineage. I would pair it with a side of concord grapes, a musky pinot noir, and a heavy dollup of RDR2.

Overall an excellent bouquet and a welcome addition to the Steam Deck family!
