I’m curious - why do you pick Samsung compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, iPhone, OnePlus, etc.)
(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

It’s the apple of android just overall reliable and high quality
Samsung seems to have a product mirrored to every one of Apples lineup. But they actually do a good job doing it. I don’t know how well their appliances are because we always used LG in that aspect. But it’s also nice samsung makes actual TVs which I’m surprised apple never tried doing.
I’ve had Samsung TVs before. While the picture quality can be amazing with some, they ask use Samsung’s Tizen software instead of Android tv and from my experience it’s terrible
Exactly. Tizen is crappy and slow. And if you ever used DNS adblock you’d realize how much of your data is shared with hundreds of advertisers.
Also, compared to other brands, the image is highly saturated and colors are unnatural on Samsung TV panels.
This is the main reason I decided to go with Google TV this year with a Sony LED TV
I’m still upset that when you open two different apps in splitscreen view, then you can’t quickly swap the bottom screen between two different apps. Wish hitting the recents button swapped out one of the apps so that you can select an open app from slit screen. Is there any way to turn off the way Samsung does app pairs.
TV business has been Samsung’s bread and butter all along.
I have one with broken remote that does not respond to clicking on right arrow button after 1.5 years of purchase. Have a cheap knockoff aftermarket remote to do the job before I used a crappy lenovo tab 4 8.
Samsung usually has lots of products to counterpart Apple’s, that’s real. But Samsung has a lot more to it. Like the Samsung’s A series or M series is not matched by Apple, they don’t do lower products. Maybe Iphone SE series but that would probably match something like FE series. Samsung also produces lots of other products apart from mobile devices. Such as washing machines.
And overpriced
It is very much the apple of android, except for a single reason, which I hate the most: the smoothness—the animations just need to be improved and decrease the lagginess in most parts. Anyhow, it is the best android UI (for me). The designs are on point, and I hope they do not mess this up anytime soon. Though if you are a minimalist, I’d suggest the Pixel.
If you’re lucky that your country use snapdragon variant
All s23 on oneard are snapdragon
