Hi there,

I recently took my car, 2011 Kia Sportage Base, subsequent owner, to my local dealership for service. I noticed a slight jerk that happens below ~15 MPH as I tend to accelerate gradually. I took it to the shop and they fixed a transmission leak. However, the same problem is still occurring. The slight jerk and now, I feel as though my car has a rough idle and rough vibration in motion ~ 65 MPH. I am a college student and already spent a fortune fixing the leak at the dealership. At the time, I would not able to afford a new car and with the new engine (due to the engine recall) it’s best to continue with the car that I have. Any idea what it could be and/or anyone have advice? TIA!!!

Edit: Forgot to mention that I am taking my car back to my local dealership.

Possibly engine/transmission mounts. Or worst case scenario it’s driveshaft related like worn flex discs/u-joint. I’m assuming he replaced the transmission fluid and it’s at the correct level?
If you’re on a budget it might be worth adding transmission fluid additive and seeing if that helps anything.
